Agrarian Kitchen Eatery Dining Event

Our September event at the Agrarian Kitchen Eatery & Store has been postponed.  We apologise for any troubles this may cause, and we will be in touch once we know about a new date. It will definitely be in the warmer months of the year.  Bring on Summer!

The team at the Agrarian Kitchen Eatery have been so keen to be our next host for our 2017 Dining Series fundraising events!

Join us for what is set to be a night to remember!  We will enjoy a bespoke menu, prepared especially for our fundraising event, showcasing beef from Big River Highland Beef that is hanging and ageing right now! You will have the opportunity to meet Bec Lynd, farmer from Big River Highland Beef, as well as from the team at the Agrarian Kitchen Eatery and we will hear from both of them about their passion for local Tasmanian produce, and why they do what they do.

As a guest to our fourth dining series event, you will be offered a tailor made welcome drink, created by Adi the in-house Beverage Manager, and then Head Chef Ali and her kitchen team will work their magic with this incredible produce to provide guests with a sensational share plate meal.  You will have the opportunity to chat to those around you, to find out what brought them to the table and share stories over a glass of wine and incredible food.

Bec Lynd, the recent Tasmanian Rural woman of the year award recipient for 2017, will talk to us about her journey so far and what she has planned for the future of Big River Highland Beef.

The Agrarian Kitchen Eatery will also have the Pinot Noir (2015) from Graeme Roberts' small, biodynamic vineyard, Bagdad Hills Vineyard. We are excited to share their story with you on the night, and to hear from Graeme about their vineyard and their passion for following farming principles that are ethical and sustainable.
