Our Cross Pollinate conference is an annual event which gathers together food growers, producers and customers, industry, hospitality, education, government and not-for-profit representatives, and foodies to share Tasmanian food and food stories and ideas.
Our theme for the event this year is "Seed to Success".
Being hosted by the incredible team at Willie Smith's Apple Shed, attendees will enjoy a farm tour of the Willie Smith apple orchard, discussions with four incredibly diverse panel members and hands-on workshops with options in soil health, organic conversion, business planning and packaging/labeling. Check out our agenda here. The day will conclude with network drinks out on the grass with fire pits at the Willie Smith Apple Shed
Our well known Long Table Dinner is open to anyone! So, make it a night with some friends or family, share sensational local produce, prepared by incredible chefs and see the Sprout Small Producer of the year receive their award, as well as the recipients of the 2018 Sprout Producer Program scholarships!
Hosted by Tim Cox, who returns for his 3rd Cross Pollinate Long Table Dinner (he must like us), with live music, it is set to be a wonderful night.
