Hamlet Dining Event

Our next event in our 2017 Dining Series is being hosted by the social enterprise Hamlet in Hobart, on Thursday 13th July!











We love so much about Hamlet; their story, their ethos and approach to contributing to the community by providing work experience for locals, and their passion to cook with local, seasonal, ethical and sustainable Tasmanian food!  Oh, how could we not mention how much we also love the coffee, the coffee cups and the warmth and ambience of the place on a cold winter's day!! All incredible!

So, we are absolutely thrilled to be working with the Hamlet team, to bring you this event!

Our sit down dinner will kick off with an Extra Virgin Olive Oil tasting, hosted by Cradle Coast Olives owner Tony O'Neil where guests will enjoy learning and tasting varieties of this season's new harvest of EVOO from three local award winning Tasmanian groves.  Lauriston Grove, a current 2017 Sprout Producer scholarship winner, Glendale Olives who is a proud Sprout Producer Graduate from our 2016 cohort, and Tony will bring produce from his grove, Cradle Coast Olives






For dinner, we will enjoy produce from local Sprout Producer Program scholarship winners for 2017 - Longley Organic Farm and Deep End Farm, prepared by Chef Cam Perry and the rest of the talented kitchen and front of house Hamlet team.

Experience what beautiful winter produce is grown by Longley Organic Farm, paired with ethical, sustainable, grass fed beef farmed on a rotational grazing basis by Deep End Farm. Guests will enjoy scrumptious share plates, hear from the producers themselves about their story and what makes them passionate to be working on the land, and also hear from Hamlet about why supporting the local community and local producers is important to them.

Tickets include the olive oil tasting and dinner, and a cash bar will be available for drinks.
