AgriFutures Australia Rural Women’s Award

The 2018 AgriFutures Australia (formerly RIRDC) Rural Women’s Award applications are NOW OPEN

Are you a passionate woman with a vision for your rural industry, business and/or community?

Do you need support to make your vision a reality?

The AgriFutures Australia Rural Women’s Award might be the answer…

The AgriFutures Australia Rural Women’s Award (the Award) is Australia’s leading award acknowledging and supporting the essential role women play in rural and regional industries, businesses and communities. The Award provides a platform to inspire and support Australian women to use, develop and share their skills and knowledge to benefit their industries and communities.

Despite its name, the Award is NOT about being the best rural woman - it is about identifying a learning opportunity that you believe will benefit you and your industry now and in the future. Each State and Territory winner will be awarded with a $10,000 bursary to help bring your vision alive.

The Award is open to women from all backgrounds and locations who are involved in some way in rural and regional industries. Whether you work in broad-acre farming or intensive livestock, cropping, horticulture, fisheries, forestry, natural resource management or related service industries, you are eligible to apply.

Applications are now open until 29th of October 2017.

Visit the AgriFutures Australia website for an entry form, information on the selection criteria and how to enter. Be inspired by the stories of other rural women who have applied and the experiences they have had. You will be surprised how easy it is to apply and how many doors will open.
