Gatenbys Grove is a small family farm located in beautiful Gravelly Beach, Tasmania. The farm is run by Jeramie and Liz, who are raising their three children while building a regenerative farm from the ground up.

They began with pasture-raised poultry and are now in the early stages of expanding into aquaponics and vegetable production. Their vision is to grow fresh, nutrient-dense vegetables for local veggie boxes while creating a healthy, closed-loop system in which birds, fish, and plants all support one another.

Liz’s diagnosis with bowel cancer became a turning point that reshaped their approach to food and farming. It sparked a deep commitment to regenerative practices and producing genuinely nourishing food that supports both human health and the land. They believe that by working with nature rather than against it, they can produce better outcomes for their family and their community.

Currently, their focus is on laying strong foundations—improving soil health, caring for their poultry, and establishing their aquaponics system. They are excited about the journey ahead as they grow Gatenbys Grove into a diverse, regenerative farm that fosters health, biodiversity, and resilience.

As a family of five, their work is guided by a simple mission: to grow good food, regenerate the land, and create something meaningful for the future.
