Conference news

The 2016 Cross Pollinate conference will be at MONA on the 22nd of August!!! Early bird tickets are available in June!

Cross Pollinate is an annual conference bringing together foodies, farmers, growers, customers, and industry representatives to share innovative food ideas, knowledge and networks. Now in its 4th year, the conference is expected to attract more than 150 delegates, the majority of whom are small scale producers and food businesses.

This year our theme is “Connect & Grow” – attendees will have the chance to learn, share and participate in conversations with the aim to identify opportunities for connecting and growing the Tasmanian food community.

Our Coal Valley tour will give delegates the opportunity for a close up look at market gardening, soil health, viticulture and growing food over winter, with a focus on small business considerations. BYO gumboots!

On the conference day, held at MONA, participants, including business, community leaders, experts and critical thinkers will participate in customer/producer facilitated discussions, mentoring sessions, panel discussions, workshops and more. The day will finish with networking drinks and an artisan style roaming dinner.

We are currently looking for sponsors. Sponsors will have the opportunity to network and display their business. For further information on sponsorship options click here.
