what is CROSS POLLINATE?
Cross Pollinate is a grassroots event, which gathers together small-scale farmers and supporters of a resilient and local food system to share ideas, feel connected and learn.
The aim of the conference is to inspire farmers to collaborate and support each other, which will in turn bolster capacity in the small-scale producer sector.
IDEAS FOR HOPE
Amidst a year marked by unprecedented challenges for farmers of every scale, we are hosting two events that will redefine perspectives, encourage bold thinking beyond conventional boundaries, and, above all, instil a renewed sense of hope.
Each event will feature a diverse range of speakers and a wide variety of topics that will illustrate opportunities we see for improved landscape function, thriving communities, successful farming businesses, and positive personal outcomes.
WHEN AND WHERE
Cross Pollinate 2024 will be taking place on:
- Sunday June 16 at UTAS Inveresk’s Workshop in Launceston
- Sunday June 23 at Moonah Arts Centre
Each event features a different line up of speakers, and will be ticketed separately. Discounted tickets are available for those attending both events.
